8.1 Data Collection via Plaid

Financial Data Collection. When you connect your financial accounts through our Service, we use Plaid Inc. to retrieve your account information. Plaid collects and processes your data according to the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. We receive from Plaid: account balances, transaction history, account holdings, and fee information. We do not receive or store your banking login credentials.

8.2 Payment Data via Stripe

Payment Information. We use Stripe to process payments. When you provide payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe’s secure servers. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive from Stripe: last four digits of your card, card type, expiration date, and billing address for the purpose of displaying payment information in your account and processing refunds if applicable.

8.3 AI and Data Training

Use of Data for Service Improvement. By uploading documents to the Service, you grant Statement Analytics a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use your content in an anonymized and aggregated format for the purpose of improving the Service, training machine learning models, and enhancing data extraction algorithms. Anonymized Data does not identify you personally and creates no additional privacy obligations.

8.4 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California Consumer Privacy Rights. If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect, (2) request deletion of your personal information, (3) opt-out of the sale of your personal information, and (4) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
